Handmade Specialty Carpets and Rugs started its business since 1907! We create custom rugs based on the design of what our customer wants. Our company has evolved over the years. Initially, someone would sit down with the client and sketch what they want. This has evolved into using design software, which lets the customer know what they are getting before they even order the product. Even with all the technology, we offer free exchanges if the product doesn’t come out how the customer expects it. We can easily guarantee our work with the methods we use. We have a 98.7% record of succeeding to meet the customer’s desire. Which goes to show we stand behind our products from start to finish.

How Homemade Specialty Carpets and Rugs process your order!

HSCR makes rugs and carpets from a wide variety of sources. We use cotton, silk, wool, jute, nylon, leather, and olefin. However, the source used is what the client requests.

The average time it takes to go from conception to creation is about four weeks. With this, the first week is when the client needs to work with us the most. Once we have figured out the design that they want, we can quickly start importing the model into our system. From there, etches are created and sent to our fabricator, who starts building the rug or carpet by hand. From there, there are several processes used to make sure we have the correct dye for colors.  This is something that takes a keen eye since what shows up on a printed paper or screen is actually a different color on a monitor. We do not rely on RGB values and use a color convertor that is accurate 99.89% of the time.
